Submission

  • Manuscripts should be submitted online by one of the authors of the manuscript through the journal website: https://ijsrsd.journals.ekb.eg, following the instructions given on the screen.
  • Only electronic Word (.docx) files are eligible to be submitted through the manuscript submission system.
  • Number of pages limit is (50 pages) including figures, tables, and references.
  • The figures and tables should be included in their appropriate places in the context of the manuscript main file.
  • Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted.
  • The submitting author takes responsibility for the manuscript during submission and peer review.

Terms of Submission

  • Submissions of manuscripts must be made with the assumption that this journal is the only one considering them and that they have not been published elsewhere.
  • It is the submitting author's (i.e. the corresponding author’s) responsibility to confirm that all other coauthors have given their approval for the paper to be published.
  • The author who is submitting the work (i.e. the corresponding author) must also make sure that it has received all required institutional approvals.
  • It is only through an official acknowledgment from the editorial office that the date of receipt is determined. Until otherwise stated, the author(s) will get additional correspondence and proofs prior to publication.
  • Permission from the authors to revise the manuscript for readability is a requirement of submission.

Peer review

  • All articles submitted are evaluated and subjected to peer review to guarantee technical accuracy and editorial suitability.
  • Studies that are published in journals have to be:
    • With novelty.
    • Scientifically valid; according to widely acknowledged research criteria.
    • Accurate in terms of methodology, findings and results.
    • Depictive of a particular breakthrough, replication, or null/negative results that merits publishing.
    • Reproducible; whenever possible, share the underlying data, code, and supporting documents.
    • Ethically approved and clear: abiding by best practices for both human and animal research, obtaining consent before publishing, and clearly disclosing any potential conflicts of interest, real or professed.
  • If the manuscript is considered appropriate for the journal, the editor will hire at least two outstanding peer reviewers who are experts in the research field of the submitted manuscript to review and evaluate the manuscript before confirming a decision to accept or reject it.

Article processing charges

  • The journal is open-access. Article processing charges (APCs) enable the publisher to post articles online for free reading and reuse as soon as they are published.

Article types

The journal accepts research manuscripts, article reviews, and short communications.

Formatting

  • The submitted manuscript should include continual line numbers to make it easier for the reviewing process.  
  • Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.
  • Written in font 12 Times New Roman, single-spaced.
  • Tables should be written in font 11 Times New Roman and serially numbered Arabic numerals.
  • Figures and Table titles should be written in font 11 Times New Roman.
  • Please make sure that artwork files and figures are submitted in high resolution and in an acceptable format (TIFF (or JPEG).
  • Numbers and data in Table should be written in font 11 Times New Roman.
  • Use the equation editor or MathType for equations.
  • All submitted figures and tables should be original otherwise authors will be subjected for legal issues related to copyright permissions. When submitting manuscript, for figures or tables, which have already been published elsewhere, authors must get permission from the copyright owner(s) for the online format, and they must provide proof that this permission has been given.
  • Manuscript must be grammatically revised before its submission otherwise it will be returned to the authors without starting the reviewing process
  • The title page should include;
    • English and Arabic concise and informative title
    • English and Arabic abstract (maximum 300 words)
    • English and Arabic keywords (maximum 6 keywords)
    • All authors details
    • Full author names (Arabic and English)
    • Full institutional mailing addresses (Arabic and English)
    • Email addresses
    • The e-mail address, full mailing address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author should be also added
  • The manuscript context
    • We accept both Arabic or English version but English is more preferred.
    • Headings; No more than three levels of displayed headings are acceptable.
    • Abbreviations; should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter, or list of abbreviations is included.
    • The abstract; should include a summary of the manuscript findings and show its novelty. It should not exceed 300 words.
    • The introduction; should be concise, and explain the issue the manuscript aims to solve, and the aim and novelty of the manuscript should be clarified at the end of the introduction.
    • Materials and methods; should be written in details enough.
    • Results and discussion; all results should reproducible and full discussed.
    • Conclusions; it should the main conclusions of the manuscript, emphasizing on its significant findings, recommendation and challenges can be also included.
    • Conflict of interest; should be clarified and included
    • Acknowledgment; is optional
    • Funding statements; should be included as grant numbers.
    • References;
    • Cite references in the manuscript context by name and year in parentheses.

    • References list;
      • Should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work.
      • Listed alphabetically in ascending order.
      • DOI of cited articles should be added.
